According to FTC, online shopping and negative reviews is the second most reported fraud category in 2021. As a result of this, we have taken the responsibility of reviewing products, stores, websites etc. for our reader’s financial safety.

What is Website?

Biology Training Aid located at is an online store that deals in variety of outdoor decorations like Peter’s hummingbird feeder, unique and metal magical windmill, etc. And these items are been offered for very cheap prices.

Unfortunately, BiologyTrainingAid is another online shopping fraud. During our investigations we discovered the following drawbacks –

  • It is owned by a suspicious company called Meledo Company Limited.
  • The trusted Seals on the website are fake, and not from the authorized organizations.
  • The website has lots of negative customer reviews online.
  • Not linked to a working social media page

At this point you should be thinking of aborting mission! But if you’re still keen on shopping from this store, continue reading!

Other Reasons why you shouldn’t shop from biologytrainingaid;

Shipping & Delivery

biologytrainingaid creates the impression that its physical store or warehouse is located in London. However, this is not so. The Company address is a virtual one that is used to gain buyers trust.

In reality, it operates from China, so shipping & delivery takes weeks, or months even. Meanwhile the company has already been blacklisted for dubious activities, for eg; bait and switch scam, see info here.

Customer Complaints

Costumers who shopped from this store have left reviews online stating that they received an entirely different item. In most cases, the sculptures were many inches smaller and didn’t look like the Ad. Also, all efforts to contact the store for refund were unsuccessful.

A customer has this to say about BiologyTrainingAid-

I purchased the “Peter’s Hummingbird Feeder” for $29.86. When it arrived, I was surprised by the poor quality plastic materials. The feeding tubes could not be inserted into the main tube which would contain the liquid food, making the feeder useless. When I contacted the company, they declined a return and initially offered a 10% refund. When I declined that, they upped it to 15% with no other option. This is a vastly overpriced piece of junk.

Return Policy

The store’s full refund within 90 days policy is just a hoax. In reality, shoppers are offered 20% – 50% refund option. They would also have to pay over $20 to return the items to China. In the end, customers are stuck with an item they don’t want!

Stolen Contents has stolen the sculptures and works of sellers on Etsy. The real makers of those sculptures have not authorize BiologyTrainingAd to sell their sculptures.

In reality, some of the sculpture sells for about £1000. And they are quite large, not the tiny replica sent by these scammers.

Early June, BBC did an article about the copyright theft here. Showing that hundreds of people have been scammed by fake websites claiming to sell these garden decor.

Is Legit?

From the crucial points noted above, has a lot of red-flags. This online store is owned by a fraudulent company stealing the works of Etsy sculptors.

Like most fraudulent e-commerce sites, this store uses super cheap discounts to attract customers. But when orders are placed, customers receive a different item instead of what was ordered. A classic case of bait and switch scam.

Unfortunate customers receive nothing at all, and have no means of contacting the store.

From all indications, is not an authentic online store. It has a poor trust score, and as such not recommended by us.

Just like Peetlos, Mondreamy, BellaTrends, Hsbrace, Usgoodssale, and other reported suspicious websites, customers wouldn’t receive the item they ordered but a cheap item or nothing at all.

Have you been scammed?- Do This

Shopping from this store exposes customers to the risk of hacked credit card and overcharged fees. Also, customers would either receive an inferior item, a different cheaper item, or nothing at all.

Therefore, it is advised to file complaints to your bank and request for a new credit (debit) card. On the other hand, if you used Paypal as a method of payment, you should document (screenshot) the transactions for future purposes.

Yes, it is true that online shopping has made life easier, however when ordering things online check out the following-

How old is the website? Does it provide return address? Are there customer reviews online? Do the social media icons work?

Always remember you can get the items from trusted sellers on Amazon, like the ones provided above. One of the advantages of shopping from amazon is the return policy. If you are not happy with your order, you can always return your items and get your money back.

  1. I have found – through personal experience unfortunately – that “Shopify” and “Shopify-esque” ads are fraudulent. There may be some legitimate sellers that use their site but from lopping shears to fishing equipment it’s foolhardy to expect anything other than disappointment.

  2. I wish I had read this before ordering one of their Facebook advertised “Windmills”. It’s been about 3+ weeks since ordering, never even received a confirmation email, let alone an actual product. Charged my credit card though. I should know by now, NEVER buy anything on FB. I have been burned every time I do.

    1. I am in same boat….I went through paypal for payment so they dont actually have MY personal information. If you used a regular credit card contact your bank and have it changed. This is a $70 lesson i guess….horrible.

    2. Me too, biologytrainingaid Is a scam site do not order from them. They put the wrong zip code on my package I never received but was charged for the wind mill $66.00

  3. This is total scam , I like Susan went through PayPal and have to file a complaint of theft with them, I find Facebook a total scam as well as biologytrainingid the co. that is selling the yard windmill, BEWARE DO BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE OR FACEBOOK IT IS ALL A SCAM TO TAKE YOUR MONEY

    1. First of all I was charged $69 for my windmill! This thing is not worth any more than $20. But I received all my merchandise. After several Texts and about a month I received all of my items I haven’t put anything together yet. I’m worried about the hummingbird feeder tube as another reviewer who recently received his said it wouldn’t assemble. I’m anxious to put the windmill together to see if it will assemble. That’s what I wanted to purchase but like I said not for $69 but I won’t even try to send it back because it came with a card saying refunds take a long time. So I will just eat the money I lost but the windmill better assemble and work. I’ll leave another comment later on if I have any problems with both pieces assembling.

  4. I finally received my wind spinner after 2 months. What a cheap piece of metal for the cost. Small & cheaply made.
Not worth even $10.00. Not happy at all.
