Mana Target Scam – Fraudulent E-commerce Ripping Off American Shoppers

Every year, new scams targeting USA residents spring up. Either a fake website claiming to sell wares for discount price, a lottery offer, or an investment platform, the goal is always the same. To dupe unsuspecting customers.

In 2020, it was the Scarfiv brand scam and Aguero. A chain of online stores with the single goal of scamming innocent shoppers. More than five hundred internet users were victims of this ‘Hot Tub’ scam.

How Does This Scam Work ?

Like other fraudulent stores, Mana Target claims to sell Household appliances like laptops, phones, Graphic cards, etc. for prices that are too good to be true. This scam entice people with the words ‘Discount Sale’ ‘Season Sale’ ‘Closing Shop Sale’

It uses Facebook Advertising to target a specific demography, like United States of America. Then the website design does the final job of convincing shoppers. The trusted seal Logos look real, why wouldn’t people fall for this scam?

Drawbacks of Mana Target Store:

False Location

This store uses a fake address. The address on the website ‘ 320 N Clark Rd, Cedar Hill, TX 75104, USA’ is that of a family home.

Google map showed there is no office or warehouse named ‘ManaTarget’ within that area. There is no known building by that name around that area.

Contact Details

The email and phone number provided by this store do not serve the purpose. The phone number (972) 382-5633 does not work. On the other hand, emails sent to the email address ‘ [email protected] were totally ignored. No customer has had any success contacting Mana Target customer care.

Poor Website Security

The security badges from VISA, PayPal, STRIFE, and MasterCard are all fake. They are copied images with no link to the authorized page. Mana Target is not authorized by any payment portal.

At first glance, ManaTarget appears to be a legit online store, but in reality they don’t have genuine intentions. They don’t provide a real address, working phone number or even a valid email. Customer reviews online indicate that this store fails to deliver the item purchased.

Majority of Mana Target customers have left reviews stating that this store does not send confirmation email or tracking number. All efforts to contact the customer care service has been futile and frustrating.

How To Get Your Money Back

Customers who were ripped off by this store are advised to make a complaint to their bank and request for a chargeback immediately. It is also important that they change their credit card info or get another credit card.

Physical Location – Does The website provide return address? If Yes (Copy the address and paste on your browser. Google map would show if it is a real warehouse address or a residential address)

Check Reviews – Are there customer reviews online? (It is advised that you sit it out if there are no customer reviews of the store. However if you’re not patient enough to wait you can send a mail to us to verify if the store is legit)

Social Media Presence – Do the social media icons work? (A lot of fraudulent websites provide social media buttons but they don’t work. It is advised that you check if the buttons really take you to the store’s social media page)
