Did you receive the Vee Park Staffing Discrimination Settlement email? It’s not a scam.

Vee Pak is paying out $6.6 million to settle claims that they discriminated against African Americans.

Who Is Eligible For The Vee Park Staffing Discrimination Settlement

The settlement is all about helping out African American workers who were looking for gigs at Staffing Network, Alternate Staffing Inc., and Personnel Staffing Group LLC (MVP), but didn’t get assigned to work at Vee Pak between certain dates. So, these guys are getting some compensation to make things right.

How Much Is The Settlement

Vee Pak isn’t saying they did anything wrong, but they’re settling a $6.6 million lawsuit about discrimination. Each person involved could get up to $5,000, depending on how many claims are filed. Just a heads up, part of that money will be considered wages and reported on a W-2 form, while the rest will be compensatory damages and interest, reported on a Form 1099. Taxes will be taken out from the wage portion.
