Hello! I am Tamara Rosa, a recruiter from Tarsier® Pharma. We have reviewed your resume for the Data Entry Representative position. The pay rate for this position is $35.75 per hour, with training provided at $20.75 per hour. This is a work-from-home job. Let me know if you are interested.

After responding to the scam text, I was sent the following:

The interview for this position will be conducted online via TEXT on Telegram Messenger. Our company’s board will review our conversations to evaluate your performance and determine your status. To proceed with the interview, please download the Telegram Messenger application from your app store or online. Once you have done so, kindly let me know. Thank you!

To proceed with your interview, please add the Hiring Manager on Telegram using the username hoops://t.me/timothywilliamshr Once added, kindly send a message to the Hiring Manager. Thank you!

How To Know Similar Scam Text

  • The message creates a sense of urgency to get you to act quickly. For example, it may claim that your bank account has been closed or that you’ve won a free gift. 
  • Next, the scammer will try to get you to either respond, click on a link, or call a number or send a message to an email.
  • You aren’t expecting a delivery from this company. 
  • The text message comes from a long or unusual phone number. 
  • The link in the text is obscured or doesn’t come from an official companies like PayPal, Costco, USPS, UPS, FedEx website etc.
