My Ruggable Water Resistant Rugs Review 2023: An Unbiased User Experience

Ever considered buying washable rugs for your home? Wondering if Ruggable Rugs lives up to the hype? In this review, I’ll share my experience with this washable rug that i ordered from Ruggleable.com and help you decide whether they’re worth it.

Overview Of The Ruggable Stain Resistant

Ruggables are machine washable rugs that come in two parts a pad that stays on the floor with a nonslip backing, and a thin rug that attaches to it with Velcro-like technology. They also have doormats available; the manufacturers claim they are water resistant.

The features include

  1. Has a slim design made from polyester.
  2. Fits easily into a washing machine.
  3. Water-resistant backing.
  4. Rests on a super-gripping rubber-like rug pad.

Testing The Ruggable Stain Resistant Rugs

I got these rugs from their official website ruggble.com for my sitting room, and they showed up in just 5 days. They are easy to put together. The 8X10 takes me about 5 minutes. The 5×7 just a couple. You have to start on one end and get it lined up then make a sheet move.  I have washed it once and it came out fine, color did not seem to fade. As other reviews have stated there is not much cushion but is soft to walk barefoot, stays put when vacuuming.

These rugs are great especially if you have pets (or kids). My only complaint is that the pattern was not very nice, . The color of the rug is too vibrant and does not exactly match the picture, which is more muted. I also It also makes a velcro sound when you walk on it if you have carpet underneath.

Ruggable Washable Rug Pros: What I Really Like

  • They’re easy to set up, all i did was follow the instructions.
  • I washed it once and it didn’t faze the color.
  • The best part is they’re machine washable, and it stays put while vacuuming just like My Magic Carpet.

Ruggable Water Resistant Rugs Cons: What I Don’t Like

  • They patterns aren’t as beautiful as i hoped which was a bit of a letdown.
  • The color of the rugs appears to be too shouty and they only have limited number of colors to choose from.
  • Now, the rug appears to make a velcro sound whenever you step on it.

Is The Ruggable Rug Worth Your Money

Yes it is worth your however, customer complaints on Reddit and Truspilot have reported the rug a total waste of money.

The customer service is even more shoddy. If you want to return your POS rug, you will pay them 25 bucks. We didn’t even unroll the thing. The rug looked like crap. We thought, well, maybe we’ll exchange it. NOPE! We paid $122 for our runner. The least expensive runner when we went back was $209. They would not even exchange the same rug for a different color unless we paid an addition cost–because somehow the cost doubled in less than a week

Greg

Also, I’ve noticed that these rugs tend to have their corners curl up sometimes. They appear to have shrunk a bit after washing them. You should definitely be on the lookout for that.

Ruggable Alternative: My Magic Carper Vs Ruggable: Which Is Better

You know, there are a couple of reasons why we went for Ruggable over My Magic Carpet.

First off, Ruggable just gives you more choices when it comes to sizes. It’s like your friendly neighborhood carpet shop, where you’re likely to find the size you’re looking for. My Magic Carpet, on the other hand, can be a bit limited in that department.

And then there’s the technology bit. I was a bit skeptical about the whole two-layer thing at first, but with Ruggable, It’s more practical compared to the traditional one-layer designs or even what My Magic Carpet offers.

Now, I’ll admit, Ruggable can be a tad more expensive, especially if you throw in that extra cushioning pad. But when you think about the practicality you’re getting, it’s worth it. Plus, they even offer financing if you’re not up for the full cost right now.

So, for us, Ruggable just seemed like the better choice.

Return Policy

If you buy Ruggable Rug products from Ruggable.com, you can return them or exchange them within 30 days of the delivery date. There’s a processing fee of $25 per item for rugs and $15 per item for throw pillows.

Conclusion

Ruggables are machine washable rugs that you can use any part of your home. However, The patterns aren’t as beautiful as i hoped which was a bit of a letdown. The color of the rugs appears to be too shouty and they only have limited number of colors to choose from. If i’m to rate this rug, i will give a 4 out of 5 for the flaws above.
