Nuubu Review [2021] : Debunking This Detox Foot Patch

Nuubu Detox Patch is a foot patch that allegedly cleanses your body from harmful toxins. Does this cleansing foot pad really work or is it a scam? Are the Nuubu reviews online fake or real? This review provides answer to your questions.

With online scams springing up every day, we have taken the responsibility of reviewing products, stores, websites e.t.c in order to save you from making wrong decisions.

How To Use Nuubu Deep Cleansing Foot Pads

From what we gathered on the website where this product is being marketed, the following ways are how to use this patch-

  • Place the patch at the middle of the foot. The soft side of the patch should contact the skin.
  • Apply the second patch on the other foot OR another part of the body you wish to remove the toxins from.
  • Leave the patches on for 6-8 hours. It is recommended to apply the patches before sleep.
  • Peel the patches off after 6-8 hours of use and wash your feet.

What an easy way to remove unhealthy toxins. Sounds pretty cool right? However, there seem to be some inconsistencies about this product.

5 Reasons Why I Don’t Recommend Nuubu Detox Patch

Like you, I was fascinated by this Nuubu cleansing foot pad, and I decided to get one for myself. Who doesn’t want to be healthy? Not me of course! So I took my chances and ordered for the patch. See my experience below –

Delayed Shipping and Delivery

To begin with, it took them AGES to send the package. After a couple of months from the date of purchase, I contacted Nuubu to ask about the shipment and was given all sorts of excuses why it was not shipped yet. This was not what I expected. On the officially website it was clearly stated that the estimated shipping time for United States is 12 -15 days.

No where was it written that I’ve to wait for six bloody weeks. Six goddamn weeks!

Terrible Customer Service

Nuubu customer service sucks. Yes, you heard me well. When you send them a mail, You receive an automated mail saying they’re very busy but your query will be dealt with within five working days. This is not true. The only time they sent a feedback was to invite me to review their product /service. This mail was immediately followed by a mail thanking me for my order and saying that shipping would happen soon.

So this left me wondering, why invite me to review the product when I’ve not received it yet? If that is how their system works, it means the positive reviews on TrustPilot are not real.

Suspicious Ingredients

You must have seen the glowing reviews online that claims this Japanese medicine contains ingredients like Loquat leaf, Vitamin C, and the likes. What these reviews fail to tell you is that the product contains ingredients that will react to moisture and body heat and it changes the color from whatever it is to black once in touch with heat and humidity.

How did I find out? I placed the patch above my kettle and it immediately turn to black. So yeah, the patch is not cleansing toxins from your body like you were made to believe.

It rather turns black because it reacts to moisture and body heat. Proof? just put one above a source of steams such as a kettle and see for yourself.

Payment Discrepancies

Lest I forget, when you place an order for the patch, nuubu.com tries to charge you for more than one patch. If you’re not observant, you might end up paying for four Nuubu detox patches instead of just one like this person below –

Fake Reviews

Don’t be deceived by the positive reviews online of Nuubu foot pad, they are all sponsored posts. The owner(s) of Nuubu Detox patch has invested lots of money on advertising and SEO. That’s why you’d only see good reviews online.

They’ve also manipulated the reviews on TrustPilot. How? when you click on the profiles of some of the reviewers, you’d see their past reviews have similar structure and words. Moreover ‘invited reviews’ shouldn’t be trusted.

Does Nuubu Detoxifying Foot Patch Really Work?

MayoClinic has addressed this issue on this article here. The truth is that there’s no reliable evidence that detox foot pads work.

Like weight loss patches, No scientific studies have been published that show that detox foot pads work or that they’re safe. The Federal Trade Commission has even charged some distributors of detox foot pads with deceptive advertising.

The bottom line: As with anything that sounds too good to be true, your best bet is to wait for scientific evidence that proves a claim before investing your time and money.

  1. bom dia, comecei usar o meu esta semana. estava preocupada de usá-lo pois estava tomando muito remédio para dores…coloquei nos pés, no braço, dormi bem, saiu negro.
    …Espero enviar ótimas noticias…obrigada.

  2. Did you try it for 10 days? Their ad claims that the blackening decreases over that time, until there is almost no discolouration. If that is true (can anyone substantiate?), it can’t be simply heat causing the reaction. I’ve not ordered, so I don’t know. I am skeptical. If they number the patches for each night, instead of a random choice, the heat-sensitive ingredients you hypothesize could be lowered through the 10-day course to lessen the discolouration. Have you tried the 10 day course?

    1. Yes was sent double the order i paid for – possibly because I complained they were manufactured in CHINA. Will check to see if they charged again. Used for 10+ days and they look the same as day 1 – black.

We live in rural area – and take care re toxins in food , water, cleaning products with our purchases, no pharmaceuticals and yet we must be the most toxic mobile vectors of disease around.

  3. Yes, I got caught in the hype. Nuubu wanted to charge me more but I refused. Eventually I received my package albeit considerable time later like (6-8 weeks later). For me I was willing to take the risk fir a small amount of money. I was sceptical then at the time of purchase. I should have just stopped then and shut down the web page. I now have received their package. I tried it for the first night just to see the results. I don’t feel any different. I believe they have an automated response coming back. The replies were too fast. I probably paid for oversized tea bags. Mind you, I would not want to drink it either.

  5. I received a pop up ad for the Nuubu foot pads after I had been researching treatment for peripheral neuropathy online. I have had this condition for the past 2 and a half years and have found little in the way of treatment. So when I saw the ad for these foot pads I thought for a few dollars the worst I could be is disappointed. I bought two boxes of the pads and wore them for 10 consecutive nights. I did not see any lightening of the pads over time, but what I did experience is a dramatic reduction in the numbness and foot pain I had been experiencing. I would say about a 90% reduction. You can nit pick this product if you want too, for me I am placing another order today.

    1. I’m glad I checked before buying this garbage. These crooks will do anything for money. They should be thrown in prison.

  6. If you want to tear the skin off the bottom of your feet this product might be a good investment. Results I obtained from the second use. It seemed to relieve joint pain in my knees the first use. I have extra patches for sale.

  7. Against my advice my sister purchased some of these pads, as described in some of the other reviews it took 2 Months for the package to arrive.
My sister used the pads as reccomended and did so for 12 Days, the pads turned a dark grey colour
and there was no physical change in my sister other than that she was 12 days older.
I also heated one of the pads in the steam off the kettle and the pad turned ther same colour as the ones my sister had put on her feet. I do NOT RECCOMEND this product my sister felt no change at all.

    Thank You

    Kevin

  8. A thorough 21 day cleanse is superior. The body cleanses itself when all harmful foods and toxins are put in it. Cleanse using juices and herbs specific to your problem. The juices allow the body to do a spring clean by reducing the amount of work the body has to do digesting meals and snacks. It takes 5 hours to digest a simple meal, 4 hours for a fruit meal and 7-9 hours for meals including meats and fats. So, if you remove that huge stress of the body and add pure water, specific juices and herb teas (roots and leaves particular to your specific problem) you will find your body will restore itself. Add to this washing twice a day all over with a loofah. 20-30 minutes in the sun, exercise in the fresh air, like a good long walk daily, and at the end of the above, continue the exercise, sunshine and fresh air, eat a natural plant based diet with no snacking in between meals, no sugar, no refined foods and only raw fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, easily digestible grains (quinoa, millet, buckwheat, whole brown rice) and you will feel like a teenager again. Hundreds of those who have tried it and turned around crippling diseases and chronic pain and inflammation, can’t be wrong.

  9. I was also excited about the idea of having toxins removed in the hopes I would naturally feel better.
When I attempted to order 10 pads, my bank account reflected a different amount. When I contacted customer service through the chat box, they told me “You must have pushed the wrong button.” NO I DID NOT. I know exactly what I ordered and how I went about it. If the pads turn black in response to heat & moisture, and there is no increased feeling of wellness from their use, then it seems to me that, as others have said; It is a SCAM. If only there was a way to shut them down so that other people don’t spend their hard-earned money for nothing.

  10. If toxins are addictive chemicals like unnatural sugar (high fructose corn syrup), drugs like alcohol, fats that build up, preservatives, meat by products like hormones, and air pollutants, these should be in the pad that you take off. Is it?

Is there a chance detox is like healing… your body does it and nothing else can do anything except help the natural process…except dialysis. Then, increase water intake to help your kidneys and skin detox, staying away from toxins, and increased lung work and circulation through exercise will cause the “detox” we are looking for? I’d take a drug detox drink or tea that makes me go potty before I did the patch, cause at least there’s an actual physiological change…more poop…less thc.

And this level of business I’m getting from many online purchases… be weary.

  11. it is only $8.99 for 10 on amazon.ca If you don’t like this brand amazon has similar products Don’t like it don’t use it. If you listen to new drug ads on Us tv most seem to result in cancer, mental breakdowns, and sterility This is an alternative to the drug culture we are experiencing
