Should You Book Norse Atlantic Airway For Your Next Trip? Must Read

Don’t be fooled by Norse Atlantic Airways low ticket prices. You’ll end up spending a lot more on food, drinks, and baggage fees for a 7-hour flight. Even though it seems cheap at first, you’ll pay more than you would with a better airline and get a lower-quality experience.

Norse Atlantic cancel a lot of scheduled flights and randomly change both legs of my return flight to something that doesn’t work for me. Don’t be fooled by the inexpensive flight prices. This review will explain further.

About Norse Atlantic Airways

Norse Atlantic Airlines is an unreliable airline service that will charge you for pretty much anything at ridiculous high prices, including ear phones, a blanket and pillow. Norse Airlines treats customers like they’re just money-makers, ignoring their needs and complaints. While this might make them some quick cash, it won’t work in the long term.

You can’t check in online with this airline, unlike other airlines like Virgin Atlantic or easyJet. When I got to the airport, there were hundreds of people waiting in line to check in, and I had to wait for about 2 and a half hours.

Red Flags About Flynorse.com

They start by offering cheap tickets, but then charge extra for things that other airlines include for free. In the end, you end up paying more than you would with American Airlines or British Airways for a flight across the Atlantic, but get much less service in return.

Their customer service is unreliable. They send emails with links that don’t work and the only option they provide is to change the booking online. Most times, Support will respond to the first email you send and then subsequently ghost you.

They request for unnecessary charges, They even charge you for headphones (free on every other flight long haul flight I’ve been on), and you don’t even get a complimentary glass of water or snack of any kind unless you pay extra.

Should I Trust Flynorse.com

No. Don’t count on the flights you book with Norse Atlantic. They might cancel your flight and put you on a different one, sometimes days away from your original booking. If they change your flight more than two weeks before you travel, you won’t get any compensation.

Complaints From People Who Have Booked From Norse Atlantic Airways

There are lots of customer complaints online about this service on Trustpilot and other review websites.

Don’t fly Norse

I have booked flights on Norse between London and Orlando March 2024. Had to cancel the flights because of emergency mendical procedure. Thet help desk unhelpfully said that a note was needed from the doctor and it required a stamp. The doctor provided the letter which was forwarded on to Norse original helpdesk email and then nothing. Provided what they asked for and then they went silent. The absence of any customer service and their inability or unwillingnesss to reply make them untouchable. I sent them c. 10 emails in 2 days and they never responded.

The Check-In online was not possible, so we had to run out of the Airport, to Check in by person. The staff was rude and even if we were in a hurry, the didn‘t do a thing to speed up the process. Afterwards they told us that the handlagguge we booked is online a bag-pack, so We had to pay 180 Euro extra to get our language with us.

What Does Their Refund Policy Look Like

Their website talks about a 24-hour free cancellation policy, which is pretty common with airlines. But they hide the part that says this doesn’t apply to flights within 7 days. I didn’t know about this until it was too late.

Is It Worth Booking

No in my opinion. Though it’s not an outright scam but the flight was a letdown, It wasn’t cheap, the service wasn’t good, and it wasn’t reliable. The staff were unfriendly, and they didn’t provide any food or water. People were moving around all night, making noise with the trolley service. Normally, you’d expect some rest after a meal on a flight, but not here. Save your money and choose a better option.
