Marlin Recovery Messages and Lawsuits – How True Is This?

We have been receiving mails from readers, bearing screenshots of text messages from one ‘Tammy’ from Marlin Recovery Solutions who claims they have a debt associated with their phone number.

This message goes like this-

From: 216) 438-8053
Hey, this is Tammy calling for Marlin Recovery Solutions and account associated with this phone number was just placed with our office and before we begin working this account I wanted to call and let you know that this account can be resolved online for Less that is of course don’t hesitate to call with any questions just wanted to give you a heads-up before we fully start working this account

This might look so convincing, and might make you panic. Hey! no need to be frightened or even visit the link. This review is going to show you how this scam works.

Marlin Recovery Text Message From Tammy – Another Scam!

The website just wants your info but gives no tangible information about themselves. On further investigations using nationwide business license search, we discovered this is a business called Marlin Recovery Resources out of a house in Alabama that operated for one year from 2016-2017 then closed.

But is Marlin Recovery Solutions Legit?

They claim they have been operating since 2001 but the website was registered on December 11th, 2020. Their webpage was only first seen online on February 11th 2021 by the Internet Archive. Google has only found 5 pages for this website. What then is the link between 2001 and 2021?

Furthermore, the person who owns the domain has made all ownership information private. Only 2 results appear when you search “Marlin Recovery LLC” There’s no business address.

The phone calls are reported to have messages being left by Tammy, with the same voice and the exact same message. These calls are being auto blocked by Robo Killer and are being called a Scam by many receivers.

Is Marline Recovery Solutions really a Scam?

How Does Marlin Recovery Solutions Work

They might mention that they have received a Fax document or some sort of complaint and that there is a pending legal matter or action about to filed against you to create the sense of urgency.

When you visit the site it said they did find an account attached to your number. The next message would be a request for the last 4 digits of my SSN.

This is quite suspicious!

However, a lot of people have attest to the fact that MARLIN RECOVERY SOLUTIONS IS NOT A SCAM!

This is what Sophie Turner has to say about this message-

I had an account in collections I completely forgot about. They worked with me and gave me a super low settlement and got my paid in full letter within the hour after paying. I asked about Tammy and she apparently is one of their locator girls who calls people trying to locate the correct person. YouTube
