had one of these yesterday – treated it the same as all other emails i’m not expecting and ignored it. it is worth keeping an eye on paypal just in case there has been a data breach and usernames and passwords have been compromised, but i think this is unlikely. as another poster has said, this email is far more convincing and looks credible.

if anyone has clicked the link, change your paypal password immediately, along with any other logins that use the same password.
