Yumiwinter.com Review: Interactive funny Bear for sale or 100% Scam?

Searching for Yumi Winter reviews? Read this review to find out why yumiwinter.com is not a legit store selling  furreal cubby interactive bear.

According to FTC, online shopping and negative reviews is the second most reported fraud category in 2021. As a result of this, we have taken the responsibility of reviewing products, stores, websites etc. for our reader’s financial safety.

What is yumiwinter.com Website?

Yumi Winter located at yumiwinter.com is an online store that deals in variety of items. It is currently running an Ad on Facebook for funny interactive bear. The Ad which comes in form of a video shows the bear making noise and moving its body.

Unfortunately, this was not the case when customers ordered the bear for their kids. Below are the shortfalls of the product –

  • The parcel received contained a cheap bear not worth $10
  • It doesn’t move its body
  • It doesn’t make any noise
  • There’s no place to insert a battery
  • The bear is a stuffed toy, small in size.

As can be seen from the image below, the company sends cheap replica toys that don’t match the advertising.

Other Reasons why you shouldn’t shop from yumiwinter.com;

Suspicious Nature

Yumi Winter has provided its warehouse address as ‘2900 Shadeland Ave Suite B1, Indianapolis, IN 46219’ which is in fact the address of a shady company known as 00shirts. Reviews on Better Business Bureau indicate that the company engages in bait and switch scam.

A customer has this to say –

I received a parcel today and they sent me a cheap bear not worth $10 ordered the furreal cubby interactive bear for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas a week out from Christmas and have nothing to give and $63.08 out of pocket I wish to be reimbursed the full amount ASAP so I can buy something else. I can’t rate a company that sends cheap replica toys that don’t match the advertising.

No Refunds

This store’s refund and exchange policy is just a sham. In reality there’s no way to get your money back as the customer service don’t reply mails. –

Is yumiwinter.com Legit?

From the crucial points noted above, yumiwinter.com has a lot of red-flags. This online store uses super cheap discounts to attract customers. But when orders are placed, customers receive cheap knock off items.

Conclusion:

From all indications, yumiwinter.com is not an authentic online store. It has a poor trust score, and as such not recommended by us.

Just like Koisboom, Flexe.us, Rasodi and other reported suspicious websites, customers wouldn’t receive the item they ordered but a cheap item or nothing at all.

Have you been scammed?- Do This

Shopping from this store exposes customers to the risk of hacked credit card and overcharged fees. Also, customers would either receive an inferior item, a different cheaper item, or nothing at all.

Therefore, it is advised to file complaints to your bank and request for a new credit (debit) card. On the other hand, if you used Paypal as a method of payment, you should document (screenshot) the transactions for future purposes.

Yes, it is true that online shopping has made life easier, however when ordering things online check out the following-

How old is the website? Does it provide return address? Are there customer reviews online? Do the social media icons work?

Always remember you can get the items from trusted sellers on Amazon, like the ones provided above. One of the advantages of shopping from amazon is the return policy. If you are not happy with your order, you can always return your items and get your money back.
