• Purevolt is just a piece of junk that we’ve seen recycled many times. The claim that it optimizes electricity use is hogwash.
• What getpurevolt.com does is buy hundreds (if not thousands) of this generic power savers from China for $3 a piece (or less,) design their own packaging, and re-sell it to you for $40 a piece.
• It is not a unique product. Sold under different names, its unique packaging and have fancy websites is just a sham. In the end, it turned out to be a scam . See MiracleWatt, Voltex, etc.

Does It Really Reduce Electricity Bill?

No, it doesn’t. Ignore the claims on getpurevolt.com, they’re totally false. When we dissected the device, we saw it only contains a capacitor placed across the power line. This actually might do a little bit of power factor correction, but you are not billed for reactive power at home. So it saves you nothing in money. Secondly, It is a fire hazard if there is a lightning strike nearby. This is because the capacitor inside it is not rated for connection across the AC line. Capacitors connected directly to the AC line are supposed to have an “X” rating for safety.
