Debugrs Reviews: debugrs.com Scam – Fake Jigsaw Puzzle Seller!

Debugrs.com Review – Debugrs is not a legit store selling wooden jigsaw puzzles. This review exposes reasons why it is likely a scam. Don’t shop from debugrs.com before reading this review!

With online scams springing up every day, we have taken the responsibility of reviewing products, stores, websites etc for our reader’s financial safety.

This Debugrs review exposes everything you need to know about the store, and why it is fraudulent.

debugrs.com – How Does This Website Work?

debugrs.com claims it is an online store that sells different kinds of wooden jigsaw puzzles. According to the Facebook Ads, they are going out of business and that is why they are offering the puzzles for 80% discount.

The website is well designed with a user friendly interface, however this doesn’t make it a safe site to shop from. A lot of fraudulent websites make their website look standard in order to convince buyers into thinking they’re legit.

This is also the case with debugrs.com

Suspicious Things About debugrs.com That Makes It Fraudulent

Fake Address

Debugrs has provided its company address as ”Area C, 3rd Floor, No. 125 Mingzhu Road, High-tech Zone, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province” but the address does not exist.

Further search on Google map showed that there is no store or building with that number in that vicinity. This is clearly a case of misrepresentation or theft.

As can be seen in this review, fake address is one of the traits of fraudulent websites.

Suspicious Nature

The email address provided by this store is ‘[email protected]’ However, this exact email has been used by numerous online stores that turned out to be fraudulent e-commerce sites.

A search online showed lots of warning posts and bad customer reviews linked to the email address.

This further proves that debugrs.com is connected to a fraudulent company whose sole aim is to cheat or dupe customers.

Bait and Switch Scam

A look at the items offered by debugrs.com showed they are offering all their goods for discount prices. In reality the price of these items are on the high side. The closing shop discount is just a ploy to make people think they are getting the puzzles for very cheap price.

When customers buy these puzzles they receive pieces of paper instead of the wooden puzzles advertised. This is a classic bait and switch scam otherwise known as Deceptive advertising!

Copied Contents

The contents on debugrs.com are not original. The About us info, return policy, privacy policy, and other written contents have been copied from another website. This is not how genuine websites work.

Every website is treated as a unique site by search engines no matter if the owner of two or more sites is the same. What this means is that contents present on each site must be unique. If it is not then the site is not a good site.

Like the saying ‘content is king’, a website with stolen contents is never regarded as a trustworthy site.

Customer Reviews

Customers who have shopped from debugrs.com have left angry reactions and bad reviews on the store’s Facebook page.

According to the reviews, the puzzles received had the quality of pure junk – just the thinnest of paper. It wasn’t a wooden puzzle as advertised by debugrs.com

All efforts to get return the items and get a refund have been unsuccessful.

Is debugrs.com Legit?

Debugrs does not have the traits of a legitimate online store. It uses a fake address, fake phone number, and offers its products for prices that are too good to be true.

You may have seen ads on Facebook and Instagram claiming to sell wooden puzzle for huge discounts. They are all a scam. They steal artwork/pictures from other puzzle sellers and they place the ad on social media, take a ton of orders and SEND customers pieces of crap instead of the wooden jigsaw puzzle.

Conclusion:

debugrs.com is not a reliable online store to shop from. It has a poor trust score, and as such not recommended by us. Customers who shop from this store would either receive an inferior product, a different cheap item or nothing.

Unreliable websites like this are not safe to shop from. This is because shopping from this store expose buyers to the risk of hacked credit card and overcharged fees.

If you you been ripped off by this store you should make a complaint to your bank and request for a chargeback immediately. It is also important that you change your credit card info or get another credit card.

It is true that online shopping has made life easier, however when ordering things online check out the following-

How old is the website? Does it provide return address? Are there customer reviews online? Do the social media icons work?

Always remember you can get the items from trusted sellers on Amazon, like the ones provided above. One of the advantages of shopping from amazon is the return policy. You can always return your items and get your money back if you are not satisfied with your order.

  1. Well we ordered and received real wooden puzzles just as advertised. Yeah they are a bit pricey but novel. Only issue we have is the sizing. The sizes shown in the adverts are cm so beware, they are not very big. Order placed 20 March delivered 13 April. So far no hint of scam but we’ll keep being dilligent.

  2. Yep – this company is seriously into scamming people. I did not receive ANY of the three items I selected, instead I got some random selection in the incorrect sizes as well! Not happy.

  3. Don’t buy from them! I received tiny puzzles, or at least a few cheap puzzle pieces. I’ve tried to contact them but am not getting any response from them at all.

  4. This whole whole assessment makes me feel sick. I ordered from them before checking into the company and then was worried that I was scammed. It does not sound legit at all. However, I did get my puzzels, all three, very high quality, and beautiful. I still am suspicious, but grateful I got what I paid for. Very confusing, and I won’t risk it again.

  5. hi yes i ordered 3- 2 large and a medium. I got 3 but i think all smaller than what i ordered. They were actual wooden jigsaws but not the images i had chosen. i wish i had seen this review before i bought. at least i got 3 jigsaws.

  6. I finally received the 3 small wooden puzzles I ordered 4 months after I ordered them! One was so old that the glue had dried out and the picture fell off about 1/3 of the pieces and on some the plywood layers had split. Once reassembled, it turned into a nice puzzle. Another puzzle had many familiar shaped objects among the pieces but it was totally frustrating to assemble because the pieces weren’t cut to interlock well. This caused everything to move when a new piece was inserted. Definitely not worth the price they are charging!
