Look out for the Beast Tasks scam on YouTube. The scam claims Mr Beast is giving out $1000 when you partake in a answer & win survey. However, the giveaway offer is not real. It is a fake Beast Promotions that lure people to malicious survey sites.

The Beast Tasks Scam is a phishing scam that uses MrBeast Logo and pictures to lure people to malicious survey sites. This scam claims to reward people $1000 or free gift cards when they answer some questions or partake in a survey. However, when people visit the sites to claim their reward they unknowingly to download malware into their devices.

Over the past month, there’ve been lots of shady websites that pretend to be MrBeast Task reward site. First of all, the YouTube video content creator Mr Beast has not mentioned anything about the website. Secondly, when we reached out to him he clearly stated that he has nothing to do with beast tasks promotions.

Meanwhile, When we did some investigations we discovered the websites involved in this scam were created by some people who don’t want to be traced. So what happens when you these sites?

After clicking ‘Claim Now’ you’ll be redirected to a different page were you’ll be told to complete 2 free offers in order to redeem your $1000. But when you attempt to visit the website, your browser (If you’re using a secured one) will flag it as ‘UNSAFE’.

If you continue, you’ll be made to submit your personal details and answer some cheap questions. However, when you complete the survey you wouldn’t receive a dime. Of course, the free $1000 is just a sham. At the end of the day you’ll receive couple of suspicious looking mails. So clearly, the $1000 giveaway is not legit or real. The giveaway is fake.

If you stumbled on such offer either on YouTube, Facebook or elsewhere just have it at the back of your mind that it’s fake.

What To Do If You Fell For The Scam

If you fell for the beast tasks scam there’s no need to panic. The first thing you should do is call your bank or credit card company and block your credit card. Meanwhile, if you gave the scammers any access to your Paypal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, etc., contact the company and secure your account.
