I meant to mention that I went through every process exactly like the article and thought, no way! Lock this guy up! And all those scum ripping people off!
Definitely a scam. I ordered and paid for an amazon echo show 8 for 53.22 and used paypal. Ordered through verihend.us. Once I realized I had been “had” (the following day) I notified paypal and my credit card company (the card tied to paypal). The cc company issued a credit. The way I realized the scam was when they never sent an order confirmation. You know “Thank you for your order” blahblahblah. Also, I usually don’t get charged until the order ships. They charged me immediately. There were definitely a few flags. I usually check out unknown websites thru whois.com . This one got by me!!
This one got me too January 2023. I ordered 2 Stanley Cups for $31 each. The day before my order was delivered the “seller” charged my paypal account for another $10 with no explaination, no approval, no notification and PayPal is allowing this!! PayPal will not give me refund because they are saying the package was delivered (even though I physically went up to the post office and asked them to look in to the tracking number that was sent to me and the post office confirmed it was delivered but to a totally different person and address but in my same small town. Also, my package should have weighed at least 4 pounds and the package that was attached to the tracking number only weighed 3 ounces! AND PAYPAL WILL NOT help me. Why are they protecting these scammers?? So are you saying I can go to my credit card company that’s attached to my paypal and get a refund? Paypal needs to be held accountable!
