Str-capital.com poses as a broker that basically makes your forex dreams come true. However, we have reason to believe otherwise. The look, organisation and general UX of their website only served to raise our curiosity. Read this review before moving to make any form of investment with STR Capital
In order to make real profits in forex, one of the most important things is to trade with the right forex brokers. Our job here is to review these websites that claim to all be top notch, then help you tell legit from deceit. The following review will tell you all you need to know about STR Capital brokers.
About STR Capital Broker
STR Capital, apparently, is stingy with a lot of their information. We had to really fig deep to find them. Based on their terms and conditions, STR Capital is a brokerge company located in St. Vincent and the Grendadiines. The owners and operators of this company are not revealed, so we make do with this.
They claim, however, to run a trading platform that works on all platforms; mobile, desktop and web. Some of the assets str-capital.com offers include;
- Metals (such as gold, silver, platinum, and copper)
- Energy (such as crude oil, heating oil, natural gas, and gasoline)
- Livestock and Meat (including lean hogs, pork bellies, live cattle, and feeder cattle)
- Agricultural (including corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, cocoa, coffee, cotton, and sugar)
Why You Should Be Wary of str-capital.com
While worldstcoks brokers might look as harmless as the next broker, consider these our findings before throwing in with them.
This is probably the most confusing part of the website. Take a look at the photos below;
Looking closely at the first photo, you will notice that str-capital.com traces it’s location to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). They claim to be under the governing law of the country. Now look at the photo below that, it says if there is a dispute, it will be resolved in court according to the laws of Estonia. Two very different locations. Strange, isn’t it?
To cap it all, the contact phone number provided by the str-capital.com carries a +44 country code. If you’re familiar with country codes, you will immediately realize that this code belongs to the United Kingdom.
With this, we already have subtle, untraceable links between STR Capital brokers and three different countries. We believe this inconsistency is enough to call a red flag.
The trading platform we found in use on str-capital.com is one very common with scammers. It is not surprising that they choose not to use the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader5 used by legit platforms.
We advise investors to look for brokers who use this platform as they are currently the top of the forex market.
Licensing and Regulation
As stated earlier, str-capital.com states connections to both SVG and Estonia in their terms and conditions. It is well known that SVG is an offshore location and a location for lots of scam brokers. This has been since the SVGFSA denied regulating any brokerage company in their region.
With that, we proceeded to check the FI registry (Estonia), where we were unable to find any match for STR Capital. The only meaning to this is that STR Capital is an unlicensed, hence an illegal broker.
STR Capital Review Conclusion: Is str-capital.com Legit?
No. Str-capital.com is not verified by any regulatory body and you would be trading with them to your own detriment. We always recommend you find a licensed broker, regulated by a reputable agency to trade with.
