The Olux Ring is sold with the claims of magnetic therapy, which is an outright scam. The magnets in the ring is far too weak to penetrate the skin to cause any health benefits. Even the claims of weight loss is false. In an August 2019 study in Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, researchers found that noninvasive electromagnetic brain stimulation, combined with increased exercise and reduced calorie intake, can help people with overweight lose weight.
This may have made people think magnets might enhance their weight-loss journey, but electromagnetic brain stimulation is not the same as wearing magnetic jewelry.
People who claim Olux Rings work are either having a placebo effect, or they are seeing results from other combined weight loss solutions like calorie deficit, cardio, etc.

Olux Rings reviews on the brand’s website are overall very positive which looks too good to be true, so we went over to Amazon.com to see how customers rated this product.
Unfortunately, this product is very poorly rated, with Olux Ring reviews averaging to only 1.5 stars out of 5. Customers have called it an outright scam, complaining it is of poor quality, and does not really work. A reviewer on Amazon has this to say ”I had this item for approximately 2 weeks and 2 of the magnets have already fallen out of the ring. Dry poor quality. Don’t waste your money.”
A similar Olux Ring review says ‘I bought one as well and tested the rings “stainless steel” composition and “4 powerful magnets” using a magnet of my own. There was no magnetic attraction, so the ring is likely made of aluminum and the magnets, well… aren’t magnets”

Overall, we don’t recommend Olux Ring for several reasons, primarily because of the poor reviews and the fact that the brand uses false claims of health benefits.
Despite the popularity of magnetic jewelries, science has largely disproven the effectiveness of such magnets in treating chronic pain, inflammation, disease, and general health deficiencies.

I bought one as well and tested the rings “stainless steel” composition and “4 powerful magnets” using a magnet of my own. There was no magnetic attraction, so the ring is likely made of aluminum and the magnets, well… arn’t magnets. I’m in the process of disputing the transaction under bait and switch FTC Act violation and it’s literally just a scam. Olux is a fraud
