I Tested Libiyi Smartwatch: Here is my Honest Reviews

In the era of advanced technology, smart watches have become increasingly popular as versatile gadgets that help us stay connected, track our health, and enhance our daily activities. One such smart watch that has been creating a buzz in 2023 is the Libiyi Smart Watch.

In this review, I will share my experience using Libiyi smartwatch to track my blood glucose level, the pros and cons of this watch, and what you should expect when you buy it.

Overview of Libiyi Smartwatch

Libiyi Smart Watch is a sleek and stylish wearable watch that offers a wide range of features like; fitness & health tracking, notifications & connectivity, heart rate monitor, blood glucose monitoring, etc. This watch is currently the hype of the internet because the manufacturers claim it gives accurate blood sugar level readings.

But does it really live up to expectations? Let’s find out.

My Experience Using Libiyi Smartwatch to Track My Blood Glucose Level

I bought the Libiyi smart watch for blood sugar monitoring. The descriptions say its non-invasive blood sugar monitoring is about 90% accurate. However, in my experience it wasn’t even 50% accurate. It just gives same range of readings…~120-130 no mater what actual finger poke needle test says.

First test, about an hour after lunch. Watch (converted units) gave me 124 and blood test – finger poke I got 138. The fact it was even able to provide a number just off by 10% was pretty shocking so had to post this review. One note.. I shaved the hair on my wrist to make sure back of watch makes good contact to skin. Not sure if this was even necessary, but wanted as good a surface contact as possible.

Second test, before breakfast. The Libiyi smartwatch gave me a 120, while blood test gave me 95. The difference of course is pretty shocking, very far from accurate.  One note, it provides measurements in mmol/L. To convert mmol/L to mg/dL, just multiply by 18.

However, aside the inaccurate blood sugar readings, the Libiyi smartwatch is a strong watch and waterproof. It mistakenly fell into a bucket of water but it functioned even though it spent more than two hours inside the water.

When it comes to mentioning real time heart rate ECG and counting my daily steps, the reports it gave synced with my Fitness app.

  • I receive notifications on it after syncing it with my phone

Libiyi Smartwatch Cons: What I Don’t Like About this Watch

  • It gave inaccurate blood glucose level result
  • I cannot answer or make calls with it
  • There’s no GPS Support for tracking

1 – The Garmin Vivoactive 4. Though it doesn’t have Blood Glucose Level monitoring, it has lots of features that the Libiyi watch lacks. You can easily  download songs to your watch, including playlists from Spotify, Amazon music or Deezer. Get easy to follow, animated workouts right on your watch screen, including cardio, strength, yoga and Pilates. It also has an excellent battery life of up to 8 days. There’s also GPS tracking. Where to Buy the Libiyi Smart Watch

The Libiyi Watch is available for purchase on Libiyi.com. However, you can get similar make on different websites. To ensure the authenticity and excellent customer service, it is recommended to buy directly from the official website or reputable online retailers like Amazon.

Conclusion

Libiyi smartwatch is a good option for lovers of unisex smartwatch, it has great grip, sleek design, and is water resistant. If I am to rate Libiyi smart watch, I’ll give it a 5 over 10. This is because it does not read blood glucose level accurately. The result it gave didn’t correspond with my blood poke needle test for sugar level.
