My Experience Using The Fionacharm Daisy Bra
I came across the Fionacharm daisy bra on Instagram, after reading reviews on Reddit, I quickly ordered it. I am a plus size girl who is active and works out hard. When I started working out regularly, I was heavier and wore 3 pullover type bras at one time.
Over time, I was able to work out with only two bras as I lost weight. After I lost about 60 pounds, I started running. I bought my first Fiona bra when training for a half marathon. This was the first bra I found that allowed me to wear JUST ONE BRA!
It was nice because it was summer time and wearing this bra with a tank top was nice and comfortable. I now have four of these and also a Juno bra. I love the fact that these have hooks – I put them on as I do my regular bra and adjust the velcro straps if I need more support.
The cups aren’t molded, so it still ends up being quite uni-boob-ish, but when you’re running, you really don’t care if you’re comfortable is because I wish it had more padding in front. With a wicking shirt, you can see my nipples in all their glory.
But again, when I’m running and dripping sweat in the heat, I really don’t care. Plus most of the other women look the same way…or they are flopping everywhere. I’d rather be held firmly in with no bounce yet be comfortable and have to lose a little modesty.
The Juno bra holds in well and has more modesty, but is a pain to get on and off. It has thick, high shoulder straps that you can even see if you’re wearing a crew neck t-shirt. I have broad shoulders so it just looks strange.
Back to Fiona, I wear two sizes – one is more true to size, 40D, for when I use the elliptical machine, take a spinning class or other workout. When I run, I usually wear the 40C. It hold even more for running, although the C cup is techically too small and has less fabric.
When I run, I bounce a LOT, and I have finished runs and had chafing along the bottom part of my breasts. My fault for forgetting the sport shield. This is still the best sports bra I’ve found so far.
