Kettlewood and Freire claim Fidelity National Financial and its subsidiary LoanCare failed to protect and secure the identifiable data of more than 1.3 million consumers during a data breach issue.

Kettlewood and Freire wants to represent other people who are eligible for the class action. Because these consumers had their personal information on the line during that big data breach Fidelity National Financial and LoanCare made headlines for in December 2023.

There is no settlement amount for now.

The people taking Fidelity National Financial to court are asking for a jury trial and looking for some legal actions, including declarations and orders. They’re also aiming for damages, not just for themselves but for everyone in their group.
