You probably came across a cute swimsuit on Cupshe.com, but don’t know if you should make the purchase, right? Well, let me give you a quick answer to the question on your mind.

I was skeptical to order from an online bathing suit retailer since these things can be very hit and miss. However, their selection is huge and I couldn’t resist trying. The real question right now ” Is Cupshe a legit company? The short answer is yes But, would I shop here again? Read this review to find out.

Cupshe.com is an online women’s clothing brand that specializes in swimwear and dresses. Cupshe sells trendy one-piece and two-piece swimsuits in sizes from extra small to 4X, and they’re always cheap as low as $30. The brand started in June 2015 and by June 2016, they already had more than 1 million customers all around the world but they are located in China.

Testing Popular Cupshe Swimsuit

Following the hype surrounding Cupshe bathing suits on Reddit, i ordered for the popular Black Ginger Ribbed & Ruched One-Piece and the Blue Colorblock One-Shoulder Tummy Control from Cupshe.com and i used app which made the whole process pretty easy to navigate.

My order had some issues, but they eventually sorted them out, although the shipping was painfully slow, taking almost two weeks from ordering to receiving. However, despite the delay, the first swimsuit was beautiful, made of thick, soft material and well-crafted. However the tummy control one piece was not that great in terms of overall appearance. It’s a bit darker and less faded-looking in person, and it doesn’t have a raw hem like it does in the product image. Also the sizing was wrong even though the labelling had the XL on it.

Unfortunately, returning the items proved to be a headache. Their return policy is hard to find and confusing, making it seem like they discourage returns altogether.

Is Cupshe.com A Scam

It is a legit website, The clothes are cute however, I would suggest sizing up. I used the sizing chart and one of the swimsuits delivered was too small even though the other one was accurate. Tried to return it. Said non returnable when it wasn’t. Spent 30 mins on phone with chat. Demanded “evidence” of of my order when she had it in the system. Had to email them my confirmation email saying it was returnable. Took 30 mins. Would not credit me for shipping.And I had to pay for it to be returned. The bathing suits are poor quality and very very tiny.

There are lots of customer complaints on Reddit and Sitejabber about cupshe swimsuit, if you’re lucky enough to have a good experience, then great. But if not, you’ll join the hundreds of us who’ve had the not so good experience dealing with them. Some of the complaints include

Fit information posted on the website was 100% WRONG! Models supposedly had 23″ waists & 36″ busts: mine are 30″ and 40″, so i ordered 1 size larger than they were supposedly wearing. Every item was WAAAYYY too big for me. I feel very deceived and will never order from them again. Quality was ok, but colors received were quite different than pictured on the website. All around, a very bad purchase.

The clothes are cheap. They are made for short people or people who don’t mind dresses showing their bums. When you return your items you have to pay money on each item so you work get the full refund of each items. You also need to pay a 15 dollar fee for a shipping label. It’s ridiculous. No one else does this. Garbage brand. Garbage clothes.

In my experience, Cupshe is a legit store. I paid for my stuff, didn’t get it on time and don’t understand how the refund policy works, I won’t shop here again.

Even though the prices were low, I’ve got some issues with this clothing store.

First off, the prices are ok but the tummy control swimsuit i received seemed far from okay and i found out that the return address is in China, which means extra cost for returns.

Secondly, Their return policy page is confusing. I thought I wouldn’t have to pay extra to return stuff, but I was wrong. That’s shady. There are complaints on Trustpilot about the store not delivering the right stuff that fits.
