What We Like About Shark Hydrovac
It does a great job picking everything up and lightly mopping. From that point it seems perfect, until you lift up the mop and see everything you picked up is clogged around the brush. I’ve had to unclog this after every use. Doesn’t matter what the debris is, hairs or cereal, it clogs more than half of the stuff picked up. What’s little gets into the actual waste container you then have to disassemble and wash out by hand.
What We Don’t Like
The container that holds the solids is horribly designed and you are forced to pick them out by hand. It doesn’t self clean as stated. I wouldn’t recommend this product. Really not happy with it besides it’s liquid mopping ability.

The Hydrovac WD201 is an expensive waste of money. I’m on my second replacement …it’s on backorder. The same thing keeps tearing up on them…it can’t sense that the cleaning solution tank has cleaning solution in it so it shuts down. It seems to be a common problem with consumers. Why don’t they just recall them? How many units do I have to go through? It can’t mop close to wall and you have to clean it out even after it self cleans. It’s a lot of work. Also, you have to use the recommended shark cleaning solution and it’s expensive. I got a 5yr VIP Warranty but it was replaced with a 2 yr VIP/1yr limited Warranty after the replacement and I only had the first one a couple months. I wish I could get my money back.
