Omicron ID-51 NHS Scam Text 2022: Fake Test Kit Notification

There is an ongoing Omicron ID-51 NHS Scam Text directing people to a fake NHS website Omicron ID-51.com saying that you have been in close contact with a person who has contracted the Omicron variant and ask you to click a link to order a test kit.  Beware! It is a scam.

Currently, more than hundred people have received this Omicron ID-51 Scam Text. Unsurprisingly, this text has nothing to do with NHS

NHS: You have ben in contact with someone who has recently tested positive for the COVID-19 Omicron Variant. You are required to order a test kit via: omicron.id-51.com

Omicron ID-51 NHS Scam Text – How does it work?

It is sent by scammers who want to get your personal information so they can use it to scam you. The fake Omicron ID-51 text, which claims recipients have been in contact with someone who has the Omicron variant and they must order a free PCR testing kit. Do not be deceived. It’s all Scam! The text messages contains viruses, spywares, malwares, which are harmful to devices and can hack and destroy your mobile phone.

Received Omicron ID-51 NHS Scam Text? Do The Following!

You should delete the text message immediately as it is obviously a phishing scam. Meanwhile, do not forget to inform your family and friends. Please they should not click on the link if and when they receive such message.
