Binance PayPal Invoice Scam and Authorization For The Payment Email: Beware!

Did you receive the fake email that is being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into calling the fake PayPal customer service telephone number: 1-800-681-9031? Beware! It’s a scam!

Lots of people have received this scam text message from Binance. It actually contains a link that was created by scammers to obtain your financial and personal information with the ulterior motive to defraud you.

Binance PayPal Invoice Scam and Authorization For The Payment Email – How does This Scam work?

Unsurprisingly, this malicious text has nothing to do with Binance. If an email looks suspicious or from an unknown source, don’t provide any information, open any attachments or click on any links, even if the email threatens to close or suspend your account or states your account has been compromised. Beware!

This Binace Scam Text has been so rampant that Binance CEO “Changpeng Zhao” warned of a “massive phishing scam via SMS” targeting the cryptocurrency exchange. In a tweet, Zhao said, “There is a massive phishing scam via SMS with a link to cancel withdrawals. It leads to a phishing website to harvest your credential as in the screenshot below.  NEVER click on links from SMS!”

Don’t be deceived, this text directs you to a phishing credentials webpage.

You should delete the text message immediately as it is obviously a phishing scam. Meanwhile, do not forget to inform your family and friends. Please they should not click on the link if and when they receive such message.
